The programme allows members with cerebral palsy to purchase small items that are needed to manage the affects of having or living with cerebral palsy.

The programme is based on a voucher system (very similar to the getOutThere programme, which is working well). Members apply to be on the getThis&That programme.

If accepted, $200 in vouchers will be sent out. The personalised vouchers are valid 3 months from the date of printing.

This gives the user 3 months to make any purchases required. After this date the vouchers become invalid and will no longer be accepted by suppliers. Only one allotment of vouchers will be made per financial year (Jul-Jun). If the user wishes to participate in the programme in the following year they will have to re-apply (unlike the getOutThere programme which has automatic rollover).

Vouchers are redeemable at pre-authorized suppliers ONLY. Obviously if the item costs more than what the vouchers come to, the user must pay the difference.
