I have lived with Cerebral Palsy for 37 years. Currently I am the Recruitment and Training Advisor at AUT University. I operates six portfolios – recruitment support, community partnerships, scholarship, pastoral support, staff development and leadership training. In his role of Community Relationship Manager for AUT University he is responsible for the promotion and management of the Disability Community Partnership Scholarship Awards. For many years now, I have been passion and quest has been to search out the secrets and insights leading to ‘breakthrough thinking’. I'm frequently invited to speak as a keynote speaker at community, government and corporate events as a result of his sincerity, authenticity and stories about ‘breakthrough thinking’. I have got two qualifications in human services and a qualification in adult teaching. In March 2002, I travelled to Hawaii to present his paper “The Mechanics of Perception: A Disabling World View and New Vision”, at the Pacific Rim Disability Conference. In 2003, I travelled to American Samoa to present his renewed paper “The Mechanics of Perception: The Hypnosis of Social Conditioning” at the Pasefika Conference on Disabilities. |
