My previous employment was with The Laura Fergusson Trust where I was part of the Senior Management Team. My role included Key Relationships, New Business/Contract initiatives.

I have a son (Andrew) and daughter (Aimee) who was born with a serious congenital heart condition, which has involved many years in the health sector. It was for this reason I reviewed my career , and chose to work within the disability sector.
My background has been diverse, ranging from owner /operator of a charter boat - Sales Representative - Self employed designer of hats and headwear for the racing ladies, and bridal.

My interests are boating, camping, and walking. For relaxation, I enjoy my music, socialising with friends and going to the movies.

As Members Manager my primary responsibilities within the role are, communication with members - extending membership and liaising with services nationally. To encourage and ensure eligible members have the opportunity to participate in the Society’s existing and future programmes - Function organization and general administration.

I am an innovative and proactive person, and always on the lookout for new opportunities to report back to the Society, that will help enhance the lives of people who have Cerebral Palsy.
