home .......... One Tree Hill Sways to the Beat!

Table number one lived up to its name, at Auckland’s Cerebral Palsy Society lunch held, at One Tree Hill’s Sorrento Restaurant, on Sunday 12th July.
Lady luck certainly favoured the diners seated at this table as they scored four door prizes, during last Sunday afternoon’s festivities. Two of the prizes were taken away by the Profner family where Tracy and daughter Brittany won glass place mats and a $50 Farmer voucher. However there were no glints of envy from the 170 plus diners sitting at the other tables.

Everyone was far too busy enjoying themselves, feasting on fine foods and enjoying each other’s company, besides there were loads of other prizes to be won throughout the afternoon
While members satisfied their appetites, the Pancho family entertained. Firstly the Pancho’s played the soft sounds of Peter, Paul and Mary and Simon and Garfunkel but as the deserts evaporated from the tables the beat stepped up a gear.
It was time to step onto the dance floor to feel the rhythm and work off those extra kilos gained at lunch.
Somewhere in-between birthdays were celebrated with the traditional cake and spectacular candles that unfolded like fireworks.
Another pat on the back must go to Members Manager Janet Chapman who organise the event and still found the energy to boogie down and there was the hard working and click happy Project and Property Manager Michael Northcott , who recorded the event via film. Luckily he has that cheeky grin to pull such a stunt off.
As the feedback confirms these events are definitely something to look forward to.
